- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Dillon Nye earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Johns Hopkins University in 2019. He subsequently joined New England Biolabs as a postdoctoral scientist, where he applied the DNA replication machinery of bacteriophage T7 to amplify long DNA fragments. Today, Dr. Nye leads a research group dedicated to the discovery and development of RNA polymerases for biotechnology applications. His lab focuses on identifying and engineering polymerases that enable the production of high-quality mRNA therapeutics. By advancing technologies for mRNA synthesis and manufacturing, the Nye Lab aims to support a broad range of applications, including vaccines, protein replacement therapies, and gene therapies.
