Speaker & Poster Information

Find your session time, room and poster number in the program section of this app.

ORAL PRESENTERS

SPEAKER PREPARATION ROOM: LEGENDS ROOM

All presentations are loaded in the Legends Room. You can’t connect your own laptop at the lectern.

  • Bring your slides on a USB drive and upload them in the Legends Room at least 2 hours before your session.
  • If you’re in the first session of the day, upload the day before or as soon as the room opens.

Opening hours

  • Monday 26 October: 7:00am – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday 27 October: 7:00am – 5:00pm
  • Wednesday 28 October: 7:00am – 2:30pm

SLIDE FORMAT

  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) in 16:9 widescreen.
  • Embed any videos in your file and bring a backup copy.
  • Turn off automatic slide timings.

SESSION ROOMS

  • Daintree Room: Keynotes and A-RNA sessions
  • River View Room: Queensland mRNA Symposium sessions and Industry Talks

ON THE DAY

  • Arrive at your session room at least 15 minutes before the session starts to meet your chair and the other speakers.
  • Chairs keep time strictly. Please finish within your allocated time so questions and the next talks aren’t cut short.
  • An AV technician is on site if you need help.

POSTER PRESENTERS

Posters are displayed in Sundown + Piper + Topaz, alongside catering and the exhibition.

SIZE AND MOUNTING

  • A0 portrait (84.1 cm wide × 118.9 cm high). The boards fit a maximum of 1 m wide × 1.2 m high.
  • Velcro fixings are provided.
  • Your poster number is listed in this app and on the poster board.

SET-UP AND REMOVAL

  • Put your poster up from 8:30am, Monday 26 October.
  • Remove it by end of afternoon tea, Wednesday 28 October. Posters left after this time [will be disposed of].

POSTER SESSION AND JUDGING

Monday 26 October, 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Sundown + Piper + Topaz, during the Welcome Function

Please stand by your poster for the whole Poster Session. Judges will visit posters during this time.

OTHER VIEWING TIMES

Posters are also on display during the breaks below. You don’t have to be at your poster at these times, but it’s a good chance to talk to delegates about your work.

Monday 26 October

  • Morning tea: 10:45am – 11:15am
  • Lunch: 12:45pm – 1:45pm
  • Afternoon tea: 3:15pm – 3:45pm

Tuesday 27 October

  • Morning tea: 10:00am – 10:25am
  • Lunch: 12:00pm – 1:00pm
  • Afternoon tea: 2:30pm – 3:00pm
